My name is Matthew Benson, I grew up in North Carolina and studied Visual Effects and Computer Graphics at Savannah College of Art and Design. At SCAD, I discovered my love of Houdini and procedural problem solving. This led me to Pixar Animation Studios where I have been a technical director for over five years. During that time, I had the opportunity to work in a variety of departments. All of my work in these departments has had a deep focus on using procedural workflows to solve technical issues as they arise.
